BIRDWELL BEACH BRITCHES
BIRDWELL Beach Britches is a southern California surf company that was established in 1961. I was CONTRACTED TO design their women's collection, with a goal of bringing new energy to their infamous board shorts and rounding out the collection by introducing more lifestyle pieces. I drew inspiration from the dreamy SoCal Surf culture of the 1960s & '70s, in celebration of the brand's 60th anniversary. With an extremely tight deadline (3 months) I was able to design, develop & color 80 SKUs with half of the collection approved to production. I also updated and improved the fit of all 4 of their iconic board shorts as well as their signature racing jacket, all receiving rave customer reviews.

CAROLINE COLLABORATION
As part of January's delivery, I did a small collaboration capsule collection with local surfer and Birdwell muse, caroline Motley. The retro colors were inspired by her favorite surfboard and complimented her cool Californian vibe.
